Message: Hey everyone,
Today I went and looked at a 1994 Dodge Dakota Automatic SLT with the 5.2L 72K miles. The truck looked really good, all power inside, cruise, all that stuff. I took the car out for a test drive and we both drove it and the truck rode just fine. It does need brake work in the rear as they were squealing quite a bit. Only leaking a tiny bit of fluid but it was rather clear/brownish from around the transmission underneath. We're taking the truck up to a shop to have it looked over. 4X4 engaged just fine and the interior was just fine also. The truck is selling for $7000. Are there any major problems I should be aware of with this truck/engine? Do yall think it's a good buy for $7000?
Thank You

Message: Lance, seven grand for a 1994 with 72K miles? Take a look on Ebay to see what other Dakota's are running. I think you will find 1997-1999 4x4 models at that price range. The used car market is really slow right now with all the rebates and low % financing rates on new cars. For $7K I will sell you my '97 4x4 Dakota.
