Hey with crude oil prices falling(26 bucks a barrel on Friday),has anybody seen Gas prices come down yet?. Hope it will here (east Central Fl)soon.

Nope. They're quick to raise them, but always take forever to lower them. You know, "free money" for them.

I even wrote my Senator to find out why they haven't gone down.

You have to remember that there is a considerable lag betwen oil price and gas price. Refineries sell inventory, not immediate production. So you will always have a lag between what is being produced and what is being sold at the pump. It can easily take 2 weeks or so to see a price drop at the pump that matches up to a drop in oil price.

Also, crude oil and gasoline are sold on a futures type market, so it is difficult to predict which way prices will go. A sudden drop in crude price can go away very quickly, and the consumer will never see any benefit froma price drop that only lasted a few days.

OPEC stated when the price drops too much because of the increase in oil. They are simply going to cut production to increase prices. Us consumers take it in the A$$. I swear the States should drop a few bombs on these bastards!!!
