I have never owned a Dodge Dakota before but just purchased one two days ago. I was wondering if I got a good deal or got ripped off. It's a 1999 Sport, 4x4, V8, 35,000 miles, black, AC, CD player. I think it's a very nice looking truck.
I paid $14,987 for it at the dealer. What do you think?

I think GOOD.
For an idea of what a new one equipped like yours would cost, go to CarsDirect.com.
Probably looking at $21,000 - $23,000, so $15,000 seems more than fair.

I think thats great the prices I have seen on a similar truck are much, much higher than that.
