Subject: Help with bad msd blaster ss coil IP: Logged
Message: I put a Blaster SS coil on my 99 R/T and after 2
days my truck started to have a mis and would
stall. I took it to a garage and they said I had a
code for a bad coil. I'm going to send it back to
Summit and get it exchanged for a new one
but now I am hesitant to put it back on for fear
of the same problem. Is it ok to use this coil
on my truck and do you think I just got a bad
one? Can anyone make me feel good about
putting this back on?

Message: I just read a post where someone said that
the MSD could fry the computer. I found out the
other day along with having a bad coil that my
computer was bad. Could the MSD coil have
caused this? I have the Mopar Performance
PCM on order and now I am really worried. I
do not want to fry my new computer. What is
the real story about this. Should I get an Accel
instead or should I just stick withmy stock
coil? Help!
