Subject: new exhaust..... IP: Logged
Message: Well i called midas, and they can do the ravin z33 muffler and tailpipe installed and complete for $280, or i can buy a flow 1 chamber for $60 and have my local speed shop bend the new tail and put it all on for about $100, plus it will come out in front of the tire instead of behind, so i think it's gonna be the flow. Has anyone ever heard the 1 chamber muffler on a dak? I used to have a mustang w/bassani x pipe and flow 1 chambers and i loved it, just wondering what it'll sound like with just one muffler and the cat still on, and yes the cat is staying because the dealer just put a new one on......well any thoughts?

Message: It's going to sound good as hell, but the cabin noise will not be pleasant.

Message: Can you guys fill me in on the size of the pipe on the outlet side of the last catalytic converter? 3"?? Can I go to a flowmaster series 50 or 70 with a single 3" inlet and double 2.25" outlet? I would love to get the tail pipes custom bent to the front of the rear wheels, has anybody done it? Any ball park on costs? I want hear it but also be able to talk to somebody.

Message: Dave W.. I've got a 70 series; 3" inlet into 2 1/2" duals exit at the front/side rear bumper r&l. Low cabin noise, great performance and sound. Exiting the pipe in front of the left rear wheel would be a fire hazard that close to the gas tank. About $280 w/ stainless tips.
