Message: I just wanted to ask what size and brand of tire people here favor. 95% of my time is on-road, but i don't really care about tire noise, i actually kinda like it.. i have a 97 club cab sport,5.2,4x4,auto,3.55 rear gears, stock 15x8 wheels....currently running goodyear tracker radial 31x10.5x15......looking for tires that will last while not costing an arm and leg........

Message: I just oufitted my Truck with Michelin Cross Terrains. They have a 60,000 mile warranty and a are very quiet, good in the snow and even better in the rain. Only con - $$$$. I also changed my wheel size to 17" R/T wheels (275-60-17)...same overall diameter as 15 X 31's with less sidwall = much better cornering/handling.

Message: well like i said the truck is 4x4 so handling is not of extreme importance as with a 4x2, also i like a good sidewall on 4x4 trucks, now for my car yeah a small sidewall is necessary.

Message: I have a 93 4x4 with yokohama geolander at's, 30x9.50-15's, because 31's might be too big for the 7" stock wheel. i love these tires compared to previous goodyear tires.these have absolutely no road noise, but very aggressive tread, haven't gone in much mud yet, but they are awsome in 14" of snow, i reccomend these for mostly road use, while still having some off road capabilities

Message: I just had a set of factory 15x8s powdercoated black and threw a set of 31x10.50 procomp x terrains on them. It looks bad ass...
