Subject: Timing chain question
IP: Logged

Message:
I was wondering if anyone else had a kinda clunking/rattling noise up front near the engine. I have read earlier about this that it is a problem with the timing chain. I know this needs to be replaced and read on thefastman.com that Dan recommends the "PRO GEAR TIMING CHAIN." Is this the same thing as the stock timing chain or will this in fact help with timing in some way. Has anyone heard of this or replaced the timing chain - the noise irritates me to death. Any help on this is appreciated, i am looking to replace the chain as soon as possible but would like some help on this topic.

Thanks in advance guys.
