Well I've had it on for about 2 weeks now and my truck rips. I've got my retard set to a hair past 2 and it's running smooth BUT here is the thing, sometimes when I'm sitting at a light it will start to choke and just today it actually stalled on me. It's a 00' R/T and every other basic aspect seems to look solid, a/f ratio is right on, the pinging has been worked out and I am super super happy with my decision but this stalling out sh*t sucks. Joe you around bro? .. any ideas?

Give you some info it's a 00 r/t rolling up on 70k miles. I have a fastman tb, gibson catback, msd6-btm, jba wires, and that's it. I also noticed that I'm idling between 500-600 rpm's, isn't that low? When it does happen it behaves like suddenly the fuel supply has been dramatically decreased because it will choke for about 8 seconds and like I said this time it just plain died. All the other times I threw it into park and gave her a lil' gas and it was fine. For the hell of it I just sat there to see what would happen and of course it died heh.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys. Oh and for anyone considering a powerdyne s/c it was very easy to install, in fact my guages and ignition took more time! The power is sick, seems like it just keeps coming no matter where I'm at on the tach... keeps you sunk back in the seat all day.

Does it backfire a couple of times when you give it gas?

nah doesn't backfire, it seems to hesitate though sometimes but thats about it. I wish I could give you more symptoms but that's all it does, just kinda dies if I'm sitting there for awhile.

u need a good tune up and a stand alone fuel management system, if u have a laptop , put that on the passenger seat and buy some nice tuning software (700 dollars ouch) and u can perfect your fuel curve and a bunch or other stuff. i have a 97 5.2 V8 5spd and mine idles at 500 all the time. my 2 cents

the kit came with an fmu along with an auxilary pump, I haven't checked my fuel pressure at idle or under boost yet so I think this weekend I may do that. 700.00 software is not an option for me heh, besides that's a bit over the top for what I'm trying to achieve. I just want to have a fast, functional, reliable ride heh.. not really interested in shaving a 1/10 of a second off and such. Any other ideas?

thanks guys,
