what trans is in your truck right now? im a little curious why you would want to get rid of 4th gear? you can put a 727 in it, as long as it is a long tailshaft version. i cant remember right off hand about the trans mount and the crossmember, but ive seen it done without major complications. if you have any specific questions, just ask.
