 Subject: Cleaning the inside of headlights?

Just recently I installed the diamond clear corners for my '97 4x4 318 'kota. They look great. Now i know there is a diamond clear replacment for the headlights, but I dont have the extra money to get them right now. So, my headlights looks old and crudy inside due to the biuld up of condensation and dust, and compared to my diamond clears, look nothing like clear. Does any one know of a good way to clean the inside of the headlight housing, or a good solution to put inside the bulb opening to clean out the inside of it. Plus, is this a good idea to do such a thing, i just want it to look cleaner than it is. Thank You.

just take a nice lint free rag and a tooth brush and wipe around in the housing.......

Hey, toothbrush, haven't thought of that, I'll try it this sat. after i put my chrome rails on. Thanks for the advice, any other suggestions?

try stylinconcepts.com , nopi.com , jegs.com , etc. i'm not psitive who has the headlight lenses but they are out there, ya just gotta hunt...........

hey bigdakota97 just pour some spraynine right in, swish it around a lot and then do it again.
then leave the lenses sitting over night so that the moisture is able to run out. I did this two nights ago, there was no fogging the next day. It you really want them clean put a polishing wheel on your dremel and use polishing compound on the lense. half hour work and they will be clearer than new,

Scott at Trucktrenz.com is also working on having a set of clear headlights manufactured. He is suppose to know anytime what the cost will be. Is also offering gunmetal altezzas that look sweet.

I got those sponges with a hadle that you use to clean out glasses and bottle with when you wash dishes. Im goin to see how that works this week, I tried a toothbrush but it wasnt workin out at all. Ill let you know how it goes, if it doesn't work, ill try swishin' that solution around in them, what did you say put in them? spraynine?
