Subject: Front Speaker Size IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know what brand/size speaker I could use to replace the front door (bottom) speakers. They measure 6" accross but I wasn't sure what speakers would acutally fit. I'm just running the stock CD player so I'm not looking for anything expensive. This is for a '99 CC.
Thanks!

Message: Search the archives, there is plenty of info on this. The Pioneer TS-A1767's come with adapters that allow them to drop right in. Lots of other speakers will fit, they just need an adapter as well. The stock speakers are 6 3/4". Most of what you will find is 6 1/2". Some 6 1/2" ones can be made to fit without an adapter.

Message: also if you buy from crutchfield you have 30 days to try them in your vehicle, and if you don't like them you can send them back for a refund or a different set of speakers,,,,, i personally have had nothing but good experiences with them........
