Subject: Exhaust System IP: Logged
Message: Hello,
I know this question has been asked at least a thousand times but here goes:
I want to replace my stock exhaust syetem with a Gibson /Flowmaster/? but I don't want it much louder in my cab. I would like to know what other people have used. I would like to get a dual system that exist straight out the back. but I don'T know if its made for my particular situation. Heres what I have:
1998 ClubCab 4WD 5.2L with the 3100 tires (so my spare is bigger) and a trailer hitch. Has anybody with my setup put on an exhaust system like I'm talking about? If so, was it bolt-on? any special problems?
Thank for your time.

Message: I haven't seen to many bolt-on systems that would clear that big of a spare tire. You should go down and talk to your local muffler shop,he can bend the pipes to clear and make it look real nice and clean. If you want agood sounding muffler go with a flowmaster 50 series. It's got a good mellow tone
when you accelerate and it's pretty quite when your cruz'n the freeway.Make sure you use stainless steel tips, those chrome tips suck. They
rust to easy.
