Message: I've been reading the posts regarding the Powertrax no-slip versus the factory LSD (which appears to be a Dana Trac-Lok differential). Based on the numerous posts, it seems that both have pros and cons, and for most street and mild off-road the Dana unit seems to offer the best performance to daily driver trade off. Also, 4wheelparts.com offers the chrysler 9.25" trac-lok for $159. Does anyone know of any reliable shops in the MA, or New England area that have experience installing these? Any idea what additional components, if any, need to be replaced?

Message: there is a 4x4 shop in salem, Ma i cant remember the name of it or the road its on but if you knew the area i could probably describe as best as possible where it is. i took my old pathfinder there after many attempts at fixing the suspension problem at like 10 other areas...guy know exactly what the problem was like 5 min after checking it out..if u know the peabody-salem area then u can probably find it. I think if u follow walnut st from peabody into salem,(make sure to curve right on the road while in the salem side and it should be this small unnoticable shop with a sigh above it that saids specialize in 4x4 trucks...hope that helps any...
