I just got a packet in the mail today from the organizers of the Mopars at the Strip show (Las Vegas March 28-30). They are ahead of projections as far as pre-registrations go, but they would like to make sure this event becomes a regular stop for everybody who attends. In order to help boost attendance for the inaugural year, they are offering 50% discounts on entry fees for groups of 10 or more who pre-register by March 20th.
New Fees:
All Truck Class Drag Racing: $37.50 (from $75.00)
Stock Dakota Class in Car Show: $25.00 (from $50.00)
Modified Dakota Class in Car Show: $25.00 (from $50.00)
Other items of interest:
Burnout Contest: $10.00
Jeep & Dodge 4x4 Poker Run: $40.00 (from $80.00)
Dyno King Pulloff $80.00 (not sure if discounted)
Other Drag Racing Classes (If you can qualify - 50% off)
General Admission: $15.00 one day, $30.00 3-day (12-under free)
Mopars at the Strip T-Shirt $20.00 (+3 s/h if ordered in advance)
Special discounts now available at the following hotels: New York New York, The Cannery, Super 8 Motel, Speedway Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, and La Quinta Inns. (Not like Las Vegas has any shortage of hotel rooms, but it's a weekend and typically prices go up, availability goes down)
You can show AND race if you want, but you must pay both entry fees. Car show judging is from 9-5 on Saturday so show cars cannot participate in the 9-5 TnT's on that day but can qualify/race for the money on Sunday.
