98 5.2L v8 reg cab 5spd
hey i got rear-ended this morning by a Audi. damage includes lund rollpan, apc clear tails (not euros), tailgate, leer hard tonneau cover, and right fender w/ fender flare
now i can do some shopping for new parts. i didnt like the lund b/c it was flat and had a big hole for the spare tire tool. so i want a SS metal roll pan and weld it in. i might get the tailgate off ebay and my body shop guy will have to paint it so i might as well get the handle shaved. the fender and fender flare will be prolly beaten out or replaced. i didnt like the leer cover b/c it was over the rail, i really like the checkermate fx flush mount, its so sleek. and last the clear tails, this are highly illegal here and i have been pulled over for them, also the the clear stands out alot on my black truck. i really dont want to get euros but i might just have to for safety at night, im lookin into the red euros with black (carbon) sourroundings. does anybody have any prices for any of this products that i list? i just want to know if anybody is cheaper then trucksperformance.com Sorry for the long post leave a comment on what u would do...with insurance money thanks oh yea my frame and bed is fine and it didnt bust in through the cab wall, he was only going 10mph in the Audi and i drove away and he was towed and got a ticket. -Ed
