Well I think my battery is dying, and im off to find a new one. I've never bought a battery before and was wondering if any one could suggest a good one? I do some off roading and have a premium sound system. Thanks for ur help!

I agree if money is no object and you want the best get an Optima. If money matters get an AC/Delco Freedom batter or a Champion. Do not buy any battery made by Exide they are total junk. If the bater just has to be decent and price realy matters Interstate makes a decent battery as well!!! If you live in a warm southern state go for the Interstate they tend to run $19-$29 dollars in the south at private garages and they will last just fine down their.

yes get an optima if you can, if you need a good batt. for cheap, get an everstart from wal-mart, i have had three of these in different vehicles and they are actually pretty good, they are also made by the same comp. that makes diehard.

Plus the optima weighs 15lbs less than than the stock battery. Dak on a very light diet!

chesire17201, i actually had 3 of these in my truck not long ago, did great, held a charge for my burps during competitions just fine, was running about 3600 watts, at the time, that plus the factory 136amp alt kept my voltage at 12.3 just fine, never really dropped below that unless i did 20 second burps
