Message: Why do that?
Do you change your oil so often that it will have an impact on your budget? There are easier ways to save money?
Did you have a bad experience with Syn?
Not telling you what to do, but that seems like an odd choice...

Message: You should have no problems going back to dino oil. Unless you have need for a synthetic oil, dino is the more intelligent choice.

Message: I have been told by several people that if you go to synthetic oil you can't go back. If you do you will burn oil, but I don't know. I am interested in why you want to switch. Is it a problem or decrease in performance?

Message: it will make no difference at all, but the synthetic will provide the added protection.
The only reason that oil burns is because of a mechanical failure(valve seals...).It does not burn because it doesn't like the kind of oil you use
