I was wondering what is the largest size tires I can put on my 93 Dodge Dakota Sport Reguler Cab 2WD without any tire rub, problems, etc. I was wondering what a good ratio and diameter would be. As you can tell I don't know much about tires. I am looking mainly at BF Goodrich Radial T/A to BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A, I will definently get BF Goodrich, just wondering sizes. If you can help thanks.

Why BFG? there are plenty of tires jsut as good and better priced.
If I remember right Ive seen asome 2 wheel drives with 30x9.5x15 running around with no lift.
You may want to look and see if they make lift springs for your truck. My buddys truck didnt have anyone who made them so we went to the junk yard and pcked up a set of springs off a f150 and cut off the ends with a chop saw and lifted it 3 inches

rob454 must be a chevy guy for he knows not of what he speaks, and why else the 454 moniker? the best all around off road tire you can get are BFG's yea there are special purpose tires that do a specific job better but I mean general all around. After all BFG's have won Baha for many years straight and that alone speaks well of them.

BFG's are definitely the best tire to run if you want an agressive lug that still rides smooth over the road.
