 Subject: Hard Tonneau Covers

I have been looking at some fiberglass tonneau covers and am split on which company to go with. I have basically narrowed it down to three companies; Snugtop, A.R.E., and Astro. Which would you guys recommend?? Has anyone been unhappy with either of these?? Also, I have some round prices that I have been told, but would also like to know what you guys paid! Thanks!

ARE makes a high quality product that looks great. before you decide, do some research on how well they back their lids. ARE stands behind their product, I have been using their products for ten years with nothing but good things to report. Price? about 700 bucks painted and installed.

Covermaster makes a fiberglass lid thats removeable. Looks great!!! I just had it install on my 03 Dakota QC

hard covers are between 330 and about 1200 for the innovations cover that has a build in small profile stock car like wing. i am going to sell my over the rail Leer cover that cost 800 (painted black) and get a CheckMate FX for 330 and it comes in black. also metion that keith sent u from dakotausa.com and they will knock off 20 bucks. so 310.00, u can also get it carpeted, quick release hinges, and dome light with locks. i personally love the flush look. heres my site with my cover if anybody wants to take it off my hands for a low price. http://www.cardomain.com/id/v8blakdak

I have an Astro cover. It is very slim and stealthy when closed and the shocks they use are extremely strong. Mounts under the bed rail with clamps and has a rubber seal around the edge so not to scratch the bed. I have been thinking about selling mine though since I took it off and it is taking up space in the garage!
