2000 - 4.7, 30,053 miles
No problems of any kind. 2 weeks ago had 4.10 gears installed. With the lack of low end torque characteristic of the 4.7 these are the gears that should come as standard equipment. Of course, I understand that the garbage 3.55's are for mileage claim purposes.

'00 Club Cab 52,000 miles
Replaced front rotors, pads and fuel pump. Changed tranny fluid.

2000, 83,000 miles... no engine probles, but birnt power steering fluid, way too many tires and a clutch... but no engine problems... been to the track, the autocross, and pt 2 yards of loam in the back 13 times (10 miles each time) and no problems... but tires just don't seem to last...

2000 SLT CC 4.7 4x4
- No engine problems to date.(51,000+)
Had to replace the rotors around 24,000. I would recommend replacing rotors with powerslots when the time comes.

2000 Quad 4.7 4x4 - 42K.
-Wheel hub assemblies, steering column, rear leafs replaced, tranny works but shifts like a ford. Nothing to report on the engine. Pretty tough little sucker.

62k as of this morning truck will be 3 years old in july... of course i put on 32x11.50's four or five months ago so it's actually a few more miles than the odo says..

My 01 4.7 has 52K hard miles. Still no problems!
Warped rotors @ 12K ( I think it's a factory option)
O2 sensor @ cat. 45K
Dead battery @ 5k (musta been bad from the factory)
I need to get a toothpick so I can get all the Chebby z71's out of my grill though...they keep getting in the way.
Engine is still as smooth as ever...one tough cookie!

I was told everything was normal...
