Probably the fastest out there though regardless.
Matt Barret's was probably the next fastest I know of ... sold it though I think low 14's?

Watch our for NotchLX soon, he'll be low 13's, high 12's at least this season I'd bet.

Message: I've never ran mine. I've gotten into a few 'street' races, from one light to the next kind of thing. Biggest problem is traction. The first time I raced someone I took it kind of easy off the line so I wouldn't spin out. I still had to back off 3 times before I could stay hooked up. With the KB you can control the boost with your foot, you just need to learn the best way to get on it and it works fine.

Message: I bet if I had a 5 speed, I'd be in the 13's. Anyways, my truck is running lousy right now. For whatever reason I don't think I'm getting full boost out my s/c. KB's can be put into 'valet mode' which turns the boost off (opens the bypass valve i think). I did that yesterday and barely noticed a difference in performance. It's definitely not like it used to be. I'm thinking perhaps the switch to the 3" exhaust cost me some boost? I'm still waiting on my boost gauge so I can check it out.
Thanks for the invite though. Since I live in Los Angeles, it might be kind of a long drive.

me, well, 14.55 on slicks 14.99 on street tires but both were in need of a tune.
Notch.... well, he's gonna be in the mid 13's, but there's bugs to work out of the Paxton set-up. He'll get it there by May....

Notch, it damn sure was fun, rain or not. I noticed that with just the one or two burnouts that I did with the tires on MY truck, they were really starting to get sticky. I think they were just too new when we put 'em on your truck, plus mine weighs a good bit more. But those 10.5's are seasoned in and will give you good bite after one solid burnout.
The more I think about stuff, the more I realize that you need to do the following things in the following order:
1. a/f gauge- just to be safe
2. boost gauge- just to make sure that Fernco is holding
3. 21# injectors- just to get that bottom end a/f correct (and SOON).
But you already know that..... keep me posted. And don't forget the Hot Rod Nationals on Mar 14,15,16. I'll be there, and I may try to run EFI 14. But we'll seee..... Matt Barret will be in town for at least Saturday, BTW.

Message: I was looking at a Kenne Bell and KRC Cams for my truck this Spring. I am sure that woulda helped me out a lot. Instead I bought a 1990 RX-7 with money left over to rebuild it and fix up the suspension. I'm still considering getting the KRC cams. I would love to be be in the low 14s, at the highest.
I do have 4.56s going in it in another week or two, but I have no idea how much that'll help me.
