Does anyone know if there is anyone that makes aftermarket tubular control arms for gen 1 Dakota 2x4?? The reason I am asking is that I am looking for ways to loose weight off the front end because I am installing a 451 big block this summer.

You want lift or not? AIM ind makes a 3in lift with new a arms and coils. Maybe with that huge engine, a lift could keep your truck about it height as it is now. try www.truckinsuspension.com

Ok, I know that but dont you think that a 451 big block is gonna weigh more than a 3.9L? Your call but that much weight up front on stock springs is gonna also be a lower kit. Good Luck.

I have already planed on putting stiffer springs to compensate for the wieght and pan on lowering it 2" by 4" Thanks for the suggestion though
