Subject: Why no stepside/flairside? IP: Logged
Message: I've always wondered why dodge doesn't offer a stepside. Most of the other truck makers do, I personally like how they look too. i think a stepside dak or ram would look pretty sweet. What do you think?

Message: I agree that the flairside taco is ugly and it makes your bed a lot smaller.

Message: The most famous Dodge truck of all time was a stepside, the Lil' Red Express. You do loose a lot of space, but I like the way they look. If I was buying a truck strictly as a driver and for performance, I'd get one.

You should be able to find a good one or enough parts to build a knock off.

Message: I have seen a stepside on a later model ram. I don't know if it was a one off, or if the box came from some other brand of truck. The one I saw looked to squared off to blend with the nice smooth lines of the front end and really did not look very good. I agree they cut into the bed, but if done designed right should look killer on a Dakota.
