Message: So today i rode along with my buddy down to Denver to fix his Audi. He snaped a brass nipple off his manifold that his vacume line attached to trying to add a boost gauge. Anyway so we get down there and we are meeting his older borther at this guy named Trent's private shop (this guy is loaded out the ying yang, 5 V8 F-Bodies 3 are Blown, 03 ZO6, chevell SS project, Modded Z71, and the list goes on, 15 total cars. The garage has 2 hydralic lifts, its own paint room, and all the goodies you could ever want to work on a car) Onward... My friend has told me a little about his brothers ride which is a Camero SS, and i always thought yeah thats cool but never gave it much credit. 630HP at the wheels deserves credit!!! He drove to the parts store to get a tap and a few other things. OMFG it was amazing, i had trouble pulling my head off the headrest till we hit about 80mph, he took it up to 140 (still going strong) before he shut it down. Its a good thing because we nearly caught air over this rolling hill, definatly a much cooler feeling than any rollercoaster ive ever been on:) He hasnt ran it at the track yet with his new engine but on his old motor he was running mid-low 11's, he is guessing that the new motor will run 10.8's. Also keep in mind that this is at CO elavation.
So how does this relate at all to dakotas? Well now im depressed because even if i stroke, twin turbo, and mod the poopie out of my 18 sec 6 banger, it will never give me the same rush that i had today:(
Can one be pissed off and excited at the same time.....

Message: hell brian you got a truck, owner of a blown 00' r/t speaking you won't sink into your fabric like that but then again you won't look like a stupid a$$ dego or whop eihter. anyone rolling that car has serious rocky issues to get over, OR how no family/wife/child etc... if I were even trying to contend with that I'd start with an 03' cobra...

Message: Brian!
Check out the 1996 trans am up for sale on ebay. It sounds similar(blown & 600+ at the rear wheels) and all for $16000. I wish I could get my hands on that. Maybe not as nice as the ss, but never the less WOW. Glad you had a fun ride anyway.
