I would like to change m7 4.7 quad cab 4x4 w/3.55 lsd to 3.92 gears w/lsd. I realize I have to get both the front and the rear done. What i dont understand is whether the rear will still have limited slip or do i need to change something else. I am not doing this myself of course.

The rear will still have limited slip. Check out Randy's Ring & Pinion. They know their stuff when it comes to gears and rears.

You're going to need ring & pinion (gears) front and rear and an install kit. I'd get the "master" install kit and replace all your bearing at the same time. It doesn't cost much more and it's cheap to do while the differentials are opened up.
