Subject: DAKOTA KILLER? IP: Logged
Message: I dont know if anyone else has seen it, but in the new issue of Truck Trend it seems that the Ford SVT boys have been up to no good and stuffed a Lightning motor into a single cab stepside Ranger. I am not a big fan of Fords but that would be one insane combo. They said they dont have any plans to produce them yet but I think it would give pretty much anything a run for its money. I kind of wish they would make it so the Dodge PVO boys would get some balls and give me my Hemi Dakota or a Viper V-10 powered Dakota.
p.s. Fords still suck!

Message: I can't see ford ever doing that for prodution. It would wipe out sales of the lightning (same reason dodge won't do it in the dakota, srt10) and the mustang. Especially when they are about to launch a new muxtang.

Message: Well I do believe you can order it through a special company with a warranty. They used to sell the ranger with a mustang svt motor. But im sure the cost is just not practical enough to be worth it. BUt ya those tires are sick on the back, looks way tuff.
