Message: Hi
I got a 91 dakota with heavy duty suspension package with a 318 v8 and automatic and 3.92 gears. Will this truck pull a 5 wheel 15 to 20 foot camping trailer I can get my hands on one in mint shape for $1500 cdn. If so where can I get my hands on a 5th wheel hitch?
Thanks
Peter

Message: Your truck should do fine pulling a short 5th wheeler. As for price, I don't thonk you will find much for less than $5000, and even then you would have to fall into a deal with a private seller highly motivated to sell cheap.

Message: DC does not recommend that you use a Dak to tow 5th wheel trailers. Heck my ol'man had a full size ford 4x4 shortbed that he could not get any dealer, 'ford or trailer hitch', to install a 5th wheel hitch. I called a local trailer dealer and he said their ain't no such animal for a Dak.

Message: Get the rails for a small truck. Reese does make them just give them a call if you can't find them anywhere.
As usual slopehead is a retard.
