Subject: which tires? IP: Logged
Message: I currently own a 99 dak rc that has the optional 15x8 wheels. I'm looking for tires to replace my existing dominator sr4's that are 265/70/15's. I like the look and ride of these tires but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Can anyone recommend replacements in this size? I was looking at the dunlop rover gtx, any comments.

Message: On my 2000 CC I went with 275/60/15 Firestone Firehawks. They required going with fender flares, but I was gonne get them at some point since the 255's stuck out a bit anyways. I like them a whole lot better than the stock tires. I've also heard of a lot of people that have the Bridgestone Dueler H/P's that like them as well.

Message: Thanks for the input. I see that you have added the intense performance airtake to your dak. I've been looking at this also, would you recommed it?

Message: when I had 15's I was using the BFG Radial T/R 275/60/15, they look good and ride really well, and the price is right.

Message: My truck is a V6. I put the intake on and then the V8 TB. I noticed a bigger difference from the addtion of the V8 TB than just the intake alone. If you have a V8, things may be different. It was a toss up between Airaid and Intense.
The procarparts.com ones on ebay go for around $40. They look a lot similar to the Airaid ones, but with an S&B style filter. They'd probably do just as good a job.
