I did a search in archives for info on vapour lock (frozen gaslines) on Dakota's but couldn't find anything. Twice this month I have killed my battery trying to start my 1999 Dakota V6 in cold weather (below minus 20 degrees farenheit)
Yes I do put in one or two "gas line antifreeze " per week as preventive medicine.
Does anyone else in the northern climates have this problem ? I never had this problem with my 93 jeep (and plugging in is not always an option in the bush ice fishing.)
