GEEEZ,
I was planning on doing a few mods this summer to my truck but if the gas prices keep climbing i dont believe im going to have any money to do anything with. I was lookin to get rims and tires, clear corners, tonneau cover, and intake. But i doubt i will get any of them unless i find a real high paying job and at 16 that aint likely.

i saw $1.77/gal. today for reg. unleaded. i didn't even look at mid grade which is what i burn in my 98 dak. sport.

I paid $1.71 for mid grade in Houston last night. WIth my lead foot, I'm getting about 13.0 mpg. I think I'm going to start looking for ways to increase my MPG, and look into changing my driving habits.
I did buy a motorcycle. However, because of our lovely Texas weather, I have only been able to ride it about two days a week.

Saudia Arabia is on High Alert with intellegence stating that terrorists might be planning to attack their ability to supply oil. Intellegence states that Iraq is planning to destroy their ability to deliver oil if they are attacked. This represents a very large percentage of the world supply. If either of these events were to happen (with US supply at a two decade low) what would we be paying for gas then.
Be prepared to cut holes in the floorboard of your truck and power it like Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble.

Alberta Canada $287.28 for regular. hey lew are you sure about that price its 1 gallon = 3.78 liters that would mean you guys are about to break 1 dollar per liter i seen on the news that we had not done that in Canada yet.

yeah, Gas is $1.91 for regular $2.01 for mid grade and $2.11 for premium here in the Bay Area, CA (San Jose)
it really sucks.

Hey Slugga, if you are 16 and have a 2001 Quad Cab, either you do have a GOOD job or dad does. Either way, I doubt that you need to sweat the gas prices.

The people at the nissan forum had the nerve to bittch about gas prices. They get 25-34 mpg. I told them to try 23 gals at 1.94 a gal.

Yep Jason, i filled up for $1.49 at the AMPM at 35th ave and peoria here in phx. I live by caemlback and the 51, it is about $1.52-$1.55 at the ampms there. Also, if i used a higher grade than 87, will there be any diffrenec in performance for a 2.5l dak? And what would happen if my frined were to put 100 octane into his 02 straus 2.7l? He has been wanting to try it.

87 for $1.749 and 94 for $1.999, prolly break $2 per gallon by Monday I imagine. This is in Central NY and I have two Daks(mine and wives) so our gas bill is running close to $400 beans a month right now, if the price keeps going up we are going to have to take the freakin bus to work or take one of them off the road lol.
This is dam ridiculous that Bush will not tap into our oil stockpiles we have here to keep prices in moderation, maybe he will when it reaches $3-5 per gallon after we goto war.

1.55/reg. yesterday.
I went from full the about a half a tank in my 01 4.7 QC, filled again and divided.
My usual mix of driving--20MILES/GALLON!!!
It's amazing, kept my foot out of it, still cruised nice though.
