Hi guys...
My sweetie (akaproph) was deployed to Kuwait in January. Dont know how many of you knew him or heard of him. Anyway, the internet connection sucks out there...last night I get a phone call from him and among other things he wanted me to post on this forum because he misses being on it practically every day. His other love (his truck) is sitting in someones driveway right now waiting for him to return, hopefully he comes back to me first! Just wanting to know if you guys can keep me updated on a few things he wanted for his truck...the cervinis sniper kit (is it out yet)and some new style headlights, the ones that are kinda clear looking, I dont know what they're called. If anyone sees a deal out there could you please reply? I dont know much about these things. Thanks for reading this post, Ill be on here once in a while to check things out...bye!!

Hello, and I do hope our Troops are safe, and will be all coming home soon. As to your questions, the headlamps are not out yet, I have heard that they are too be made soon, and it is in the works... The Cervinis body kit is already out, I see it in magazines.. for sale to the public. but I imagine it is costly.. The headlamps when they come out will sell like Hot cakes, I can't wait neither.. Tell your boyfriend, I and we all wish him well and for a end to this War matter.

The Sniper Body Kit, hold on tight, it's $2800.00. Tell him to save lots of that combat pay, and good luck. Keep his butt out of the way of hot flying metal. And the headlights are advertised but will not be out for another 6 months or so.

i really dont want to sound like an a-hole here, but in "somones driveway?" oh my god i hope you know who they are, they might be a little pissed with his truck in their drive for a while. But all joking aside. I have a few close friends over there and I pray for everyones safe return.

Me: He does know the person, one of his co-workers offered to store it for him. By the way those are nice rims, did they come with the truck? I think we were looking at ones similar to those...

I know how he feels I just got back from there two months ago. I managed to check this forum while I was there but I also had a desk job, for the most part, and was able to surf at work when I had the time. The connection was awful though.

Hey just hope to help a fellow soldier out but, you got some bad info earlier. That kit he was looking at... wrong price. $2,169... just checked it not sure where $2800 came from. Check www.cevinis.com and those lights are called projecter/euro headlights. Hope he stays safe and ill be looking for some posts later.

That was the price when they first released the kit. I guess they figured out that it wasn't going to sell at that price and dropped it. Now me it's still about 2 times more than it's worth at the New Price.
