I got in my truck tonight after work and started it. I let it warm up a bit but the check engine light never went off after its test at start up. So i did the key thing and it says code 12. This is that the PCM power got disconnected. Now i dont know how this could happen sitting in a parking lot but i need to know if i should be driving it or what. Can i just get the code cleared and go on or what? Please help!!!

Check again... 1 2 is power disconnect-- was that the only code??? You might have a battery going out--- seen that before personally.

When I do the key thing my check engine light doesnt flash, the trouble code number comes up on my digital odometer. Code 12 came up and I sat and waited a second and no other codes came up. Maybe i have to push the trip button to toggle through them? My battery is pretty high end is a year old so I wouldnt think it is going out. It is zero or below here and the truck cranks over like nothing so i figure my battery is good. Any other ideas???
