Subject: Back-up lights not workin IP: Logged
Message: I recently had a performance clutch installed and in the process I seem to have lost my back-up lights. Initially if I moved the shifter just right, the lights would activate....now nothin.
I ASSUME this is an easy fix(possibly a loose connection?), but where exactly is the connection? On other vehicles, I had to take the shifter boot off, and there would be a wire for the back-up light...Is this the same on the 99 CC Dak. If I'm way off on my initial diagnosis, please feel free to give me your opinion of what it is and how to fix it.
Your help is appreciated

Message: Believe it or not, I notice a big difference in my ability to see behind me at night when I throw it in reverse...hence I'd like to get it fixed.

Message: Is this an easy fix? Can I simply either adjust or replace the switch?
I checked my Haness manual but can't find a reference to the location.
