Hello all, I know a guy that is offering me a black leather steering wheel for my 00 Dak for 110.00 plus shipping. I know of a place in TX that will do a core exchange for about 300, compared to them it is a great price. But do yall know how much Dodge will sell them for to a loyal customer?, my dealer is about 30 miles away. thanks...... all

Call them and ask. I`ll bet they could care less if you are a loyal customer or not , and it`ll probably be 600-1100 dollars for a new one.

What, I think the invoice price I paid on my 01, when I ordered it, was aoubt #30-#50 dollars.
I'd get an aftermarket cover, get a nice one, for those prices! Sheesh!

You should get a wheelskins leather wrap for about $30. When you lace it up real tight, the fit is amazing and when people see it they think it was stock.

The price you paid for something when you bought your truck is not even close to what it would cost to purchase it after the fact. That`s comparing apples to popcorn.
Example from MY invoice off my 02 QC:T/Case-Elec,Shift-on-the-Fly,F/Time $395
probably 2-3 grand if I had to go to the dealer and buy one.
Power heated mirrors, fold away $20 , again maybe 200 ea. at the dealer.
I`m not trying to flame any one , just want you to be aware of the difference , and not have a heart attack at the dealer.

JC Whitney carries wheelskins at a good price. I agree they are primo quality. They made me a custom one ($50) for the wheel in my KW W900. It was huge and took me a long 3.5 hours to lace it on. But it looked amazing!

How hard is it too pull the steering wheel on our Daks and swap the airbag to new wheel?

took me about 10 min to pull wheel when i put on fac. cruise. easiest if you have a wheel puller.:)
