Subject: Cutting runners on stock intake manifold
IP: Logged

Message:
I have heard some about cutting the runners on the stock intake manifold. I don't have the money for an M-1 manifold so I was going to cut the runners on my stock manifold. I looked at the Hughes website and that is very vague in showing how it is done. How is this done? What gains should I see once this is done?

Thanks
Dan

'Ol Dan has an answer for everything....Dan, you tha Man !!

But I really wonder how much of a gain you would get from just smoothing out the rough spots, but then again thats all everyone is doing with TB's so I may try and see.

FYI-- I have a stock beer barrel intake on ebay, no reserve-- it's at $10.00 right now! (it's from a friend's 2001 RT-- in excellent shape).
