Something strange is going on right now, After I installed my new sub and amp in my truck acceleration has improved alot! I barely touch the pedal now and I squeel the tires. So I unhooked everything and then tried it and was back to the way it use to be just accerated normal. I know this sounds pretty stupid but does anyone know what might be happening?

My guess is you couldn't hear the engine over the amp so you didn't know how much gas you were giving it.

I install stereos....He could of had a bad ground or a small short that was causing his performace to suffer. The install of the system could have some how corrected this. Bringing his performance back to what it should be.
Not likely but VERY possible.

a few years ago there was some talk of using sub woofers to kill exhaust noise and still leave the pipe straight.its believed that exhaust is mostly high pitched noise and the ultra low bass noise would drown it out and increase power because no muffler as we know it was needed
how ever
i think the ultra low noise from your stero has caused excessive vibration in the fluid in your ears giving you the sense that your moving of faster. that coupled with the extra large coffees would give an overwhelming sense of going fast and feeling good.

I only have 1 10" sub so its not hitting very hard. just the peddle it self its differnt aswell like i can just tap it and the truck goes crazy
