pain on weight bearing, and extreme movements. NOn steroidals (NSAIDS) are effective over the counter medications.

Oh, you mean your cars ball joints. Jact up the front end, if you can wiggle the top of the tire left to right, usually a bad ball joint.

Blackdak01, mine made a creaking noise over bumps
and when turning. If you have to replace them, go
with aftermarket Moog ball joints, they are a better
part and are greaseable. The dealership will want to
replace the whole assembly, charging you lots of $$$
and they will be the same crappy parts.

Ok here is the correct way to check for bad ball joints.... Use a Floor jack ,place it under one lwr control arm at a time, so you jack up one side,(DO NOT USE JACK STANDS)allow only enough room to slide a 2x4 board by 5 feet long under the tire, This gives you leverage. now lift the end of board, watch as the wheel moves up and down, keep an eye up on the uppers and lwrs, use good lighting, if ball joints are bad they will move side, to side.. lwrs will move up and down. This is how I diagnosed my bad upper on the driver side,it moved approx 3/4" so I said heck with it and replaced all 4. and installed new front shocks, 40,000 miles on my shocks, Nitro ones used for the drop were bad.
