some low lifes at ebay are auctioning off souviner shuttle tiles for over one hundred dollars each and you can buy it retail from a reputable dealer for $15.95 at http://www.countdown-creations.com/shuttle_tile.htm
moral of the story - before you buy dakota stuff on ebay, do a search for the retail price

Hilarious, I told my wife as soon as I heard of the accident, and the debris field, that it would be on e-bay in an hour or less! our society for ya!
PS, the lives and technology loss was NOT hilarious.

this is not debris from the shuttle. It's stuff they sold and are still selling at the nasa souvinor shops for years. anybody can buy it. just the low lifes buy it for $16 and auction it for $150.
