I purchased a Pop & Lock tailgate lock a few months ago. On about it's third use it stopped working (you have to pry the key hole door open to get the key in).
I know it has a one year warranty, but tossed the receipt.
Does anybody have any experience with these?? Should I replace it or are they all shotty quality?? Does anybody know of any other options?
I do like the OEM look.

I bought one about a year ago and it installed very easily....that is until I tested it. I locked it and even in the locked postion the tailgate would pop open without fail. I don't know if they are all made that way but I returned mine before the sun went down that day.

I had mine do the same thing Campindan, so I removed it after 1 week now it sits in my closet.. will sell it for 12.00 includes the shipping.
