Subject: 93 Dakota Computer IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 Dakota that recently failed to start. I checked the sparkplugs for fire and there wasn't any. I also checked the coil, it seemed to be fine. I don't have any voltage to the coil when cranking over the engine. I have been told that the ignition module is in the computer, can it be changed or do I need to find a computer to solve this problem.
The engine is a 3.9L with automatic transmission.
Will any other year computer fit this truck?
Thanks for the help.
