I am going to probably have to sell my R/T , God knows I dont want to but the Milage is killing me driving 100 miles a day ! 2000 Intense Blue Extended Cab , 40K , Powerdyne Super , New Tires , About 2 G's in the stereo , Truck is a easy 9.8 out of 10 ,Owend by me since 12K , I am a master tech and have taking excellent care of it ! What do you think I can get out of it ??

I'll give you 20.00 buck! Just kidding. I would look in the kelly blue book under private price ,just to get an idea. Then take about 50% off the price you paid for your mods.

You shoudl be able to get 15K or more out of it if it is in as good as shape as you say. But be careful. The SC might actually hurt the re-sale value because of "wear and tear"

What a supercharger have to do with wear and tear ?? Would you not buy a lightning because its supercharged ?

There is no doubt that any forced induction add on will cause more wear and tear. A turbo, a Super charger. Forced induction= more HP that in turn = harder wear on the engine.
This is not opinion, its fact any way you look at it.
Also a lightning is desigened to be SC'ed. lower compression ration, high octane fuel, larger injectors and fuel pump to prevent detonation. But it will still wear on the motor more than a natualrally aspirated motor.

I'm not saying that the SC will lower your resale value though ... if a person is looking for that type of setup they will gladly pay more for it. It just may take alittle longer to find the right buyer.

RT Club Cabs are going for 16-18,000 dollars in the Seattle, Wash. area. Makes my Fake RT ,SLT worth only 14-15 grand. Ouch!

Rpeck, if i were to buy a truck, and it had a supercharger on it, i could only think, "ok, this guy races the crap out of this thing"... thats how a SC'd truck CAN be a little hard to sell.

12,500 mi. (yeah , I barely drive it)

avg. retail : 15,275
I got about 3K in mods too.
kelly blue book only said 11,700 for private party and 9,800 trade in.
