Subject: Air conditioner/vent IP: Logged
Message: I think the flapper door that direct airflow to my vents is stuck. I turn the vent/air cond on and it work fine but air is coming out the bottom. It all started when I had to run my heater for a while last summer to avoid overheating, I think the heat soften the plastic and it is stuck. I have found the 2 vacume hoses that connect to the defroster diaframs but am unable to locate the main flaper door for the vents. How do I gain acces to this, any help would be appreciated.

Message: Can't answer that Q but I have noticed the same thing when the vacuum line is disconnected from under the passenger side dash. You can easily get to it(see it) if your look under the dash next to the kick panel. Good luck with that.
