Does any one know a way to install a sub woffer in a quad cab? Are there any companies (JL, MTX, etc) that make a pre-fab sub unit?

I put mine in a custom box, although any stock box would work. I flip up the rear drivers-side seat, and it sits there. Two things: its hooked to the amp using quick-connects, so I can take it out if I need to use the back seat and I have a cargo strap holding it in place so it doesn't fly around. The amp is under the rear passenger-side seat.

PS: It's woofer, with 2 o's.

Thanks Grant for the info. I was looking at something a bit more permanent and out of the way. Something that would not get in the way of the pasengers like a JL Stealth box

You cant fit anything under that seat since its so thin. I was going to build my rear doors out for 2 8 or 10 inch but didnt want to spend the money. So i just put a rockford componet set in the fronts with an amp and it sounds asome enough for me...

but building the doors out are an option, or make a custom center console. with one sub...

How do you hook up a subwoofer into the existing system?
My Quad truck has the RAZ factory stereo with the steering wheel controls.
I would like a little better bass response.
