Message: That was a good article about the new Hemi powered 1/2 ton Ram. But know I think it dosn't matter what they offer! Because they have just waited to damn late! Those F-ing moron's up there at DC don'know what they hell there doing at all. When the '02 Ram came out it should have had a Hemi. And every one expected jus that. Well it did come with two new engines but there was no increased power at all. And what about the HD Ram? I don't see to many of them on the road. Do you? And you can blame some of this on the big loss Chrysler had right after the merger.

Message: Well, ya, OK, it's a lot bigger truck inside, with a modernized motor. But is made any better than the Daks? Is there a whole herd of problems specific to it too, like the Dak (lousy ball joints, weird engine idle, soft paint, short-lived brakes, etc), or has DC actually been a lot more thorough with the quality control and engineering with the new rams, than the Dak?

Message: OF Course you got to play with a fullsize truck in the truck market D-D. If you don't then you jus don't exist. Even Nissan now has a fullsize pick-up called the Titan.

Message: Lesley, awesome article. I tried to drive a rfam just like that the other day. It was still in the plastic and not ready to drive. Maybe another day.
I think all the people on this board who are so critical of their Dakotas shortcomings should move to another vehicle. The endless bombardment of pointless emails is beginning to annoy me and others I assume. My brakes are lasting, my ball joints are fine, and our Jeep is bomber with over 55,000 miles. So if you dont like your Dak, sell it, and keep the complaints to yourself.
Sorry, had to vent.
