i have my stock water temp sending unit where it belongs and i know that it has to stay there, does anybody know of a part or have an idea on where to install my autometer gauges water temp sending unit on my 01 5.9?

Dan, I tried it on a "cebby" along time ago and it didn't work ( inline 6 cylinder) BUT try the block drain plugs...below the exhaust manifold you should find screw in plugs ( one on each side, about 1/4")...or last straw and I don't think there is enough room, tee off where the oem is screwed in
