Message: Is it me...or does the early model Dakota owners have much of nothing for options to customize? I don't want to modify the body or suspension drastically...but I would like to see some kind of catalog or something that gives me options on how to improve performance, and make these good looking trucks look even better! ARGH! Everybody is caught up with the newer model "mini-rams!!!"

Message: I feel you pain. I looked for parts for my '73 AMC Pacer wagon and none to be found.
Seriously, manufactures try to keep up with the newer models and becomes almost impossiable job to cover everything especially as time goes by the older models on the road become less and less. It just isn't profitable to contine making the parts.
You just need to keep you eyes open and keep checking around for the parts you need. Now, does anyone have a set of ground effects for a '73 Pacer ?

Message: I know what you feel Brother since i also own a 1992 CC Gen II and it is hard to find parts for the Gen II but they are out there Trust me I have found all sorts of them Clear Corners are availible Lowering Kits too Rims they are getting alot easier to find since the Gen III came out so AfterMarket Guages and such can be found at PROCARPARTS.COM, Also you might want to look at TruckPerformance.com also they have quite a good selection for the GEN II too. As for the Aftermarket The Gen II was produced from 92-96 but the Body is basically the same since 85-96 and they didnt start think about DODGE DAKOTA period until the Gen III came out. Hope this helps you out some. Here is my Website hopefully this can give you some insight Bud http://photos.yahoo.com/flamed92dak

Message: hey 1flamed92dak you say that the body styles were basically the same from 85 to 96. what is the difference body wise from a gen I and a gen II? are there any parts that would fit on a gen II that would work on a gen I, such as hoods and body kits?
