Message: well an r/t is 1inch lower front and rear than a stock sport 2x4 and 2-4 drop makes the sport even. so a 2-3 on your r/t would leave you an inch higher in the back than the front

Message: So far I have had 2 friends go with the DJM-- then they turned around and sold it and bought Hotchkis--- The lower control arms will hit the inside of the RT wheel before full lock left and right-- it gouged the rims pretty bad on the inside.
Another friend went with the Western Chassis setup--- worked okay for 9 months... then the control arm broke, leaving his wife stranded on the fwy--- upon further inspection, the other control arm was severely cracked. He has since gone back to stock arms, and used the hotckis springs.
LIL DQ-- A 3" drop in the front will take a bit more work than cutting springs-- Stock springs don't have enough spring pressure as it is-- using them in a shorter config will only lead to bottoming and a very harsh ride. The 4" blocks in the rear will require a C-notch is I am not mistaken.
Lowering is cool, but if you can lower it and make it handle like a sports car, that's even better in my book. I run the full Hotckis setup (springs, sways and shocks--- have run this for nearly 65k miles-- wouldn't recommend anything else). You can just purchase their springs (front) or (rear). Run your stock sways, etc. I highly recommend getting their shocks (I have tried other brands of 'lowering' shocks-- absolute crap. The shocks were somewhat better than the stockers (at 4k miles), but quickly faded away and gave me a nasty hard ride.
If you don't want to lower the truck, but want to improve the handling-- go with the Hotchkis sway bars on stock suspension-- Especially with a QC or Durango--

Message: Sam's right,it's hard to beat the Hotchkis setup. Got mine last week. Ride is a little better than stock in so ways. Used their shocks, had a Hellwig sway bar in the rear. Did a 2/3, sets level, but I've got 5 concrete blocks in the back because of the snow. May pop up a little in the spring. Changed lower ball joints while it was apart, just because it was apart. Didn't want to do it again in 10,000 miles. Hope this helps your decision. Good luck.

hehe
Contact Randy Pile at www.worldwideperformanceparts.com
Tell him Sam referred you-- He'll hook you up-
You can piece it out-- run just the springs-- then get the shocks later.
The entire kit will make the world of difference over just 'lowering' it with blocks or otherwise.
