Hello all,
I have an 02 dakota 4.7 automatic. its rated to tow 6300lbs. i was looking at buying a trailer to use for the small farm i raise sheep and they don't weigh much. the load would never exceed 6300 lbs. but one of the trailers i found is a 10 ft gooseneck trailer. the trailer itself weighs 1800 lbs. so i could still put 4500 lbs of sheep. does anyone know anything about gooseneck trailers on dakotas? what do you think about this idea?

there just might be a reason that no known trailer hitch mfg. makes a bed hitch for daks don't ya think?
