can anyone tell me the actual weight of a 4x4 dakota sport with extended cab? one of the guys in the toolroom has a new chebie 4x4 and he won't race until he knows how much less my dak weighs than his full size chebie. you wouldn't think he would be so scared, after all he has 40 more horsepower than me.

My '03 CC, 4x4, 4.7L, 5sp auto with no canopy weighs in at 4500 lbs (no driver, 3/4 tank of gas). I actually paid at a certified scale to get a good weight on my truck.

you can look it up on www.4adodge.com its under towing a sport is about 4300LBS without driver but w/ fluids and a 4.7 5 speed. My 4x4 cc sport w/ a 5.2L 5 speed ran a 15.6 stock w/ bad traction problems I have an open diff and the truck was in dire need of a tuneup. I'm guessing I'll run high 14 now once I get a locker. I have a 360 air intakez w/ 9" k&n filter a flowmaster 50 series w/ a 3" single, Edelbrock headers, msd wires ngk plugs and brass cap and rotor. I take it your a machinest if you have a toolroom I'm a machinest also

I have a 02 CC Sport-Plus automatic with a 4.7L
6.5 bed with factory liner and it weighs a good 4700 lbs. It tells you how much it weighs in the door jam .

(99 dakota) tool and die maker. sometimes machinest also if need be. I suppose I could add on a 200 lbs or so to the total for the hard lid (about 110lbs ) and the spray-in bed liner? still under 5000 with driver . anyone know how much the full size chebie is?
