I need to install a wig-wag in my 1999 Dakota 4x4 Sport with factory fog lamps. This requires splicing into the high beam wire on the passenger side, but I don't know which wire is the high beam wire.

Can anyone tell me which wire is the high beam?

What's a 'wig-wag'?

Just get a 12V circuit tester. Looks like a screwdriver handle, a light in it, a wire with an alligator clip attached, and the shaft goes to a sharp point. You spike into the wires, while on low beam, the one that has no current, is the high beam. To test it, turn the high beams on, and see if it lights up. Quite simple actually, only take a minute.

Or you get get a wiring diagram.
